Burger King Japan teases Kagurabachi collaboration

The fast-food chain Burger King has released a new teaser image that suggests an upcoming collaboration with the massively popular and viral manga series, Kagurabachi.
Kagurabachi, created by Takeru Hokazono, is a dark action manga that has become a global, viral sensation online.

A key and iconic visual motif from the series is the protagonist Chihiro’s enchanted sword, which unleashes a swarm of goldfish when he activates its power.
The new teaser image from Burger King shows one of its restaurant locations decorated with a goldfish motif that can clearly be recognised by fans of Kagurabachi as being drawn in the manga’s signature art style.
The official X account for the Kagurabachi manga has also posted its own teaser image.
This second image shows a close-up of Chihiro’s sword, with the Burger King logo clearly reflected on the surface of its blade.

While these two images all but confirm that a collaboration is in the works, no specific details about what the partnership will entail have been announced yet.
A date of October 3rd is shown on the storefront decoration teaser image released by Burger King, indicating that fans can expect more information in advance of, or no later than, this date.
