Berserk’s Slan Officially Returns for Stunning New Limited Edition Release
Image by Charlotte DavisPre-orders have officially opened for a new premium statue of Berserk’s Slan that is inspired by both the Eclipse and her later encounter with Guts in Qliphoth.
The new 1/4 scale “Ultimate Premium Masterline Slan: The Princess of the Uterine Sea” from Prime 1 Studio draws most heavily from her first appearance as the God Hand emerge before the Band of the Hawk during the Eclipse.
Slan is one of the five members of the God Hand, the powerful supernatural beings behind some of Berserk’s most important events who become directly tied to Guts following Griffith’s sacrifice of the Band of the Hawk.
Prime 1 Studio has previously produced two other statues of Slan, beginning with its original Ultimate Premium Masterline release, before later revisiting her through the Throne Legacy “Slan on Throne” statue.
The new statue uses a completely new sculpt and composition centered on Slan slowly appearing during the Eclipse, recreating her pale skin, long flowing hair, and enormous wings as she looks down over the ritual.
Her face mixes the stylized features of Kentaro Miura’s manga artwork with more realistic sculpting, with the beast-like pupils receiving particular attention alongside subtle gradients running through her hair.
Blue and purple shading adds depth across the wings, while colder skin tones create a strong contrast against the darker colors surrounding the rest of the display.
The specially designed base recreates the otherworldly surroundings of the Eclipse, but its rear introduces a second major reference from much later in the story.
There, Slan appears through the entrails of trolls in a recreation of the form she takes in Qliphoth, directly referencing the encounter that further develops her fascination with Guts.
The standard release includes Slan and the Berserk-themed display base, while the DX Bonus Edition adds a separate statue of fellow God Hand member Ubik.
Ubik was similarly included with the Deluxe Edition of Prime 1 Studio’s original Ultimate Premium Masterline Slan statue, with the newly sculpted version once again allowing the two God Hand members to be displayed together.
The DX Bonus Edition also includes a rotating platform, making it easier to view the detailed sculpt from different angles without having to reposition the full statue manually.
Slan stands 79cm tall once assembled, with the complete display measuring 45cm wide and 49cm deep and weighing approximately 26.5kg.
Prime 1 Studio has continued expanding its Berserk range elsewhere this year, recently opening pre-orders for a new Zodd statue based directly on one of Kentaro Miura’s illustrations, recreating the Apostle standing over a battlefield covered with fallen soldiers.
Another member of the God Hand is also set to receive their own figure, with Good Smile Company recently opening pre-orders for a POP UP PARADE SP version of Void, who appears alongside Slan during the Eclipse.
Pre-orders for both versions of “Slan: The Princess of the Uterine Sea” opened on September 25, with release currently scheduled between February and May 2028.
The standard statue is priced at ¥244,090 (approximately $1,551 / £1,173), while the DX Bonus Edition costs ¥313,390 (approximately $1,991 / £1,506) and is limited to 300 pieces, with the Japanese allocation available exclusively through Prime 1 Studio’s official online store.
