Baskin-Robbins Announces Dragon Quest 40th Anniversary Ice Cream Collab

The classic role-playing series Dragon Quest is officially partnering with Baskin-Robbins to commemorate forty years of gaming history.
This upcoming promotion introduces a specialized menu lineup, including custom-designed sundaes, take-out variety packs, and themed ice cream cakes reflecting the vibrant world of the games.

First debuting in 1986, Dragon Quest is an iconic pioneer of the traditional Japanese role-playing genre.

Over the past four decades, the mainline titles and numerous multimedia spin-offs have shaped gaming culture with classic turn-based combat, memorable musical scores, and unforgettable creature designs.

The franchise continues to command a massive global following across multiple generations of players.
For this limited-time collaboration, Baskin-Robbins flavor specialists have engineered a brand-new monthly flavor called “Critical Hit! -Golden Pine Lemonade-“.

The unique dessert aims to capture the exhilarating feeling of landing a powerful critical hit during an in-game turn-based battle.
It features a refreshing light-blue lemonade sorbet blended with a sweet, juicy yellow golden pineapple sorbet.

This base is infused with a crackling candy that pops in the mouth, alongside a sour lemon ribbon designed to provide a sharp, tingly sensation.

The limited-time menu includes an expansive selection of Dragon Quest themed items as follows:
- Critical Hit! -Golden Pine Lemonade- (Regular Single)
- Price: 420 yen (approx. $3 USD / £2 GBP)

- A Slime Has Appeared! Battle Sundae

The collaboration also extends directly into the digital space through a special crossover with the MMORPG Dragon Quest X Online.
Players who log in during the event can input a promotional phrase into the game’s gift code menu to claim exclusive cosmetic gear.

This digital bonus includes a “Regular Double” ice cream equipment piece and a unique “Variety” emote.
Physical Baskin-Robbins Japan store visitors who spend at least 500 yen between June 1 and June 3 will receive a limited-edition commemorative sticker.
