Bandai to launch Gundam GQuuuuuuX collectible card wafers this summer

Bandai is set to release a new series of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX themed snack wafers, each of which come with a collectible card.
This product will combine collectible cards featuring characters and mobile suits from the new Gundam anime series with a vanilla-flavored wafer snack.

The Gundam franchise, which originated in 1979, has evolved into a global phenomenon encompassing numerous anime series, films, manga, and vast merchandise lines.

Known for its realistic portrayal of giant humanoid mobile suits and complex storylines centered on war and human drama, Gundam continues to introduce new narratives and designs, such as those seen in Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
Collectible card wafers are a common form of merchandise in Japan, offering fans an affordable way to collect character art.

The Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Card Wafers will feature a total of 28 unique cards.
The lineup includes key characters such as Amate Yuzuriha and the iconic Char Aznable, alongside distinct mobile suits like the GQuuuuuuX itself and the “Red Gundam.”

A notable feature of this collection is the inclusion of newly drawn illustrations for the mobile suit cards.

All cards will be produced as metallic plastic cards, giving them a premium feel.

Additionally, higher rarity cards will include foil stamping, enhancing their visual appeal for collectors. Each card comes packaged with a vanilla-flavored wafer.
The Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Card Wafers will be available at snack sections of mass retailers across Japan starting in August 2025, with an individual pack price of ¥165 (tax included).
For those looking to collect the full set or in larger quantities, Premium Bandai is currently accepting pre-orders for a box containing 20 packs, priced at ¥3,300 (tax included).
