Bandai Spirits Fully Reveals Exclusive METAL BUILD Hi-Nu Gundam

Bandai Spirits has unveiled an exclusive new addition to its high-quality METAL BUILD figure line.
The “METAL BUILD Hi-ν Gundam [METAL BUILD EXPO]” brings to life the legendary mobile suit piloted by Amuro Ray in the novel Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack – Beltorchika’s Children.

The METAL BUILD brand is renowned for fusing heavy die-cast metal construction with complex design arrangements to create high-end display pieces.

For this specific release, the color scheme has been completely renewed to a blue-based palette, differentiating the figure from previous iterations.

The figure captures the imposing silhouette of the machine, featuring its signature “Fin Funnels” arranged like wings on its back.

Engineers have included newly sculpted funnel joint parts, allowing collectors to display the weapons mounted on a single side in homage to the standard ν Gundam design.

The mobile suit comes equipped with a full arsenal, including the Beam Rifle, New Hyper Bazooka, and Beam Sabers.

It also features a separation mechanism for the propellant tanks, allowing the figure to be displayed in a lighter, stripped-down state.

This special release serves as a commemorative product for the upcoming “METAL BUILD EXPO,” a standalone event dedicated to the brand’s history and future.

The exhibition is scheduled to run from March 27 through July 6 at the TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO.

The “METAL BUILD Hi-ν Gundam [METAL BUILD EXPO]” is priced at 39,600 yen (approx. $275.00 USD / £215.00 GBP) and is scheduled for release in March.

Sales will be conducted through the Club Tamashii Members (CTM) service, starting with a priority pre-sale for “Ocean Stage” members or higher on January 22 at 16:00 JST.
A lottery sale open to all CTM members will follow on January 27 at 16:00 JST.
