Bandai opens orders for new die-cast figure of Metroid Prime 4 Beyond’s Samus Aran

Pre-orders are set to open for a high-end die-cast figure of the legendary bounty hunter Samus Aran as she appears in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
The new “Chogokin Samus Aran (Metroid Prime 4 Beyond Ver.)” joins Bandai’s premium figure line and captures the new design using the Chogokin brand’s signature die-cast metal parts.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is the latest entry in the sci-fi FPS series, featuring Samus in her Varia Suit equipped with distinctive new psychic abilities.

The Chogokin brand, which launched in 1974 with the “GA-01” Mazinger Z, is Bandai’s pioneer die-cast toy series.

The name “Chogokin” translates to “Super Alloy,” a nod to the fictional metal from the Mazinger Z anime, and the line is famous for using heavy die-cast metal to express the weight and mechanical feel of robots and heroes.

The use of metal in this Samus figure provides a sense of weight and a “dignified finish” to the armor’s rounded silhouette.

Standing at an impressive height of approximately 21 centimeters, the figure is designed for dynamic action poses.

It features built-in LED units in both the chest and the iconic Arm Cannon to replicate the suit’s lighting effects.

The Arm Cannon also features a replacement tip part to reproduce the missile firing state.

Accessories include 6 types of replacement left hands, arm cannon parts, a joint set, and a dedicated pedestal.

This release joins a recent wave of major Chogokin announcements.
Bandai Spirits recently opened orders for the “Chogokin Astro Bot & Dual Speeder,” featuring a transforming controller ship from the 2024 Game of the Year, ASTRO BOT.

The brand also announced the “Chogokin RX-78F00/E Gundam [Re:PACKAGE]” and its massive “Glass Feather” expansion wing set, celebrating the recent Osaka Expo.

Nintendo has also recently revealed a huge new wave of official Metroid merchandise, which includes an exclusive Arm Cannon Cushion.

The “Chogokin Samus Aran (Metroid Prime 4 Beyond Ver.)” is priced at 30,800 yen (approx. $203.28 USD / £161.70 GBP).

Pre-orders are due to open on December 5, with the figure currently scheduled for release in May 2026.
