Bandai Announces Re-Release for Exclusive G-Reco Gunpla Kit
Bandai has officially opened pre-orders for the re-release of an exclusive Gunpla model kit based on the iconic G-Self mobile suit from the anime series Gundam Reconguista in G.
This latest re-release gives fans another chance to add the “HG 1/144 G-Self (Atmospheric Pack & Space Pack) (Theatrical Movie ‘Gundam Reconguista in G’ Ver.)” model kit to their collection.
The G-Self is the main mobile suit from the series, known for its unique design and its ability to utilize a wide variety of different, mission-specific backpack units.
This High Grade (HG) 1/144 scale model is an “all-in-one” set that includes two of the G-Self’s most iconic backpack units.
The set comes with both the “Atmospheric Pack” for flight within Earth’s atmosphere and the “Space Pack” for combat in space.
This allows builders to switch between the two different forms and display the mobile suit in either of its main configurations.
The kit is based on the G-Self’s appearance in the Gundam Reconguista in G compilation film series.
It is designed with a wide range of motion and comes with a comprehensive set of accessories.

This Gunpla kit gives fans a definitive and comprehensive version of the unique G-Self mobile suit.
The “HG 1/144 G-Self” is a Premium Bandai exclusive item, priced at ¥6,050 (approx. $41 USD/£30 GBP).
Pre-orders for the model kit are currently open via Premium Bandai Japan, with shipping scheduled for November 2026.
US pre-orders for the re-release of the “HG 1/144 G-Self (Atmospheric Pack & Space Pack) (Theatrical Movie ‘Gundam Reconguista in G’ Ver.)” are expected to open via Premium Bandai US shortly, where the previous release was priced at $73, though pricing may change and shipping is likely to take place after the Japanese release.
