Athrun and Cagalli inspire awesome new official Gundam SEED flight jackets

The Gundam-themed apparel brand STRICT-G has announced a new collaboration with the legendary military apparel brand, ALPHA INDUSTRIES.
This new partnership is themed around the hit animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM and features two new “MA-1 NATUS” flight jackets inspired by the characters Athrun Zala and Cagalli Yula Athha.

ALPHA INDUSTRIES is a military brand founded in 1959, famous for being a supplier to the U.S. military and for its iconic “MA-1” flight jacket. The “NATUS” model is a modern variation that features a removable, layered sweatshirt-style hood.

The new collection brings this classic military silhouette to the world of Gundam SEED FREEDOM.
The full lineup of new items is as follows:
- STRICT-G ALPHA Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM MA-1 NATUS – Athrun Zala Model
- Price: ¥46,200 (approx. $312 USD / £250 GBP)

This version features a burgundy shell, inspired by Athrun’s in-movie pilot suit.

It is decorated with a “Terminal” patch on the right chest and a helmet motif on the right arm.

The ALPHA logo patch on the left chest is removable, revealing “ATHRUN ZALA” embroidered underneath.

- STRICT-G ALPHA Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM MA-1 NATUS – Cagalli Yula Athha Model
- Price: ¥46,200 (approx. $312 USD / £250 GBP)

This version features an engineer-red shell, inspired by Cagalli’s pilot suit.

It is decorated with an “ORB” patch on the right chest and Cagalli’s personal mark on the right arm.

The removable ALPHA logo patch reveals “CAGALLI YULA ATHHA” underneath, and the sleeve features a ribbon and dog tag.
As a special gift-with-purchase campaign, customers who buy one of the collaboration jackets will receive a free, exclusive acrylic stand of the corresponding character.

The new collection is being released in two phases.
