ONE PIECE returns to Fenway Park in 2025 for Boston Red Sox X One Piece Theme Day

Last August’s “ONE PIECE Night” at Fenway Park was a major home run and one of the most successful location‐based entertainment experiences of the year‐long 25th Anniversary celebration of “ONE PIECE.”
So much so, that the legendary anime studio Toei Animation and the famed Boston Red Sox are joining forces once again to collaborate on another theme event.
This year’s “Boston Red Sox X ONE PIECE Theme Day” will take place on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 during the team’s match‐up with the Minnesota Twins.

This will be one of Toei Animation’s newly launched national series of ONE PIECE theme events with some of MLB’s top teams, which was developed based on fans’ response to the first Boston Red Sox collaboration in 2024.
“We’re thrilled to return to Fenway Park this May and host our second ONE PIECE themed day with the Boston Red Sox” said Lisa Yamatoya, Senior Director, Global Marketing for Toei Animation Inc.
“Combining ONE PIECE with America’s favorite past time is the perfect recipe for creating a truly unforgettable fan experience.”
“Following the success of last year’s inaugural ONE PIECE Night at Fenway Park, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the Straw Hat Crew back for another unforgettable experience” said Travis Pollio, Director, Ticket Strategy and Promotions, Boston Red Sox.
“The passion and enthusiasm from both Red Sox fans and ONE PIECE fans made it clear that this collaboration is something special. With this year’s Boston Red Sox X ONE PIECE celebration, we’re taking things to the next level with a custom jersey and hat giveaway for fans to enjoy. We can’t wait to see Fenway Park filled with ONE PIECE pride on May 3.”
Tickets for Boston Red Sox X ONE PIECE Theme Day are on‐sale now and are available for purchase exclusively online or the Fenway Park ticket office.
Fans can choose between General Admission and VIP ticket packages, which will include either a commemorative ONE PIECE Boston Red Sox jersey or a commemorative ONE PIECE Boston Red Sox jersey and baseball hat set, respectively.

Last year’s “ONE PIECE Night” was a sell out and fans are encouraged to act quickly.
Planned activities for ticketholders will include a Cosplay Gathering, ONE PIECE Card Game Demo and Meet‐Up/Photo Op with Character Mascots.
“ONE PIECE” is produced by Toei Animation and based on the best‐selling manga created by Eiichiro Oda. This iconic episodic series follows pirate Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew on their epic quest to find “ONE PIECE,” the legendary treasure of Gol D. Rogers, former King of the Pirates.
Now over 25 years since its Japanese TV premiere in 1999, “ONE PIECE” has taken its place in mainstream pop culture—attracting millions of fans of all ages and around the world.
Today, the franchise has grown to encompass 15 feature films, numerous video games, a trading card game and an ever‐expanding catalog of licensed merchandise and location‐based entertainment.
As previously announced at Jump Festa 2025 in December, “ONE PIECE” and its Egghead arc are set to return this spring with fresh new weekly episodes for fans to enjoy once again, following the series’ six‐ month‐long production break.
Toei Animation Inc. distributes the show in both the original Japanese with English, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles as well as English, Spanish and Portuguese dubs, which it produces for audiences in North America, Latin America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
ONE PIECE is joining forces with a number of other sports teams, such as the Los Angeles Lakers, in 2025 and there will likely be other collabs announced in the near future, so we’ll bring you the latest news as soon as it breaks!
