Akihabara’s Monster Hunter Bar introduces new Palico serving robot

A new, high-tech staff member has officially joined the team at the Monster Hunter Bar in Akihabara, Tokyo.
The venue has introduced a serving robot modeled after the Palico from the hit game Monster Hunter Wilds, known as “KettyBot,” which began its shift today, Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Developed by Pudu Robotics, the KettyBot is a delivery robot often seen in restaurants, but this unit features a unique, custom decoration exclusive to the Monster Hunter Bar.

The robot is designed to bring menus and dishes to hunters’ tables while playing cheerful voice lines, and is equipped with newly recorded voices that include a special mode specifically for celebrating customers’ birthdays.

The Monster Hunter Bar is an official collaboration dining spot operated by Pasela, offering fans a chance to eat and drink in the world of the game, though this specific Palico robot experience is currently exclusive to the Akihabara location.

This dining experience adds to a growing list of real-world collaborations for the latest game in the series, Monster Hunter Wilds.

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Japan recently launched its own campaign featuring “MonHun Collab Packs,” which include special packaging of a Palico dressed as Colonel Sanders and exclusive in-game download codes.

The KFC collaboration also features special decorations at four specific stores, one of which is also located in Akihabara, turning the district into a hub for fans of the series.
