30 years of Burning Godzilla celebrated with new high-end watch from Seiko

A new, high-end collaboration watch has been announced, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the first appearance of “Burning Godzilla.”
The watch has been created by a partnership between Bandai’s “BanColle!” fashion site and the world-renowned watchmaker Seiko.

“Burning Godzilla” is the iconic, super-powered form of the King of the Monsters from the climactic 1995 film, Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.
This new, limited-edition watch is a high-quality, mechanical automatic timepiece with a design that is deeply inspired by the character.

The entire dial of the watch is decorated with a textured, three-dimensional line art of Burning Godzilla, designed to replicate the look of his skin.
The watch features a matte black bezel and an “open heart” window at the 9 o’clock position, which allows the wearer to see the inner mechanical movement of the watch.

The see-through caseback on the reverse of the watch is engraved with a special “Burning Godzilla 30th Anniversary” mark, as well as a unique serial number for each piece.

The watch is made in Japan from stainless steel, has a 10-bar water resistance rating, and features an adjustable band that allows for easy size alterations.
It comes packaged in a special, custom-designed collector’s box with a textured finish that mimics Godzilla’s skin, and the official Godzilla logo is foil-stamped on the top.

The “Burning Godzilla 30th Anniversary Seiko Collaboration Model Watch” is a made-to-order item, priced at ¥77,000 (approx. $524 USD/£387 GBP).

Pre-orders for the watch are currently being accepted on the Premium Bandai “BanColle!” website and will remain open until the 25th of December, 2025.
Pre-orders are scheduled to be shipped to customers in March 2026.
