Snow Machine Hakuba 2026
Last Updated on March 5, 2026

The Hakuba Valley is preparing to host Snow Machine, a major winter music festival that combines international electronic music with the region’s world class skiing terrain.
Originally launched in Japan in 2019, the event represents a collaboration between Australian promoter Falcona and local organizers to create a unique mountain experience.
The upcoming festivities will feature a high profile lineup of artists including Chase & Status, A-Trak, Claptone, Dillon Francis, and Bob Moses.
Performances are scheduled to take place across several locations, ranging from mountain resorts to various stages within the villages of Happo, Echoland, and Wadano.
Attendees can immerse themselves in the local culture of the Japanese Alps while enjoying live sets in the same area that hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics.
The festival offers comprehensive travel packages that include lodging, lift passes for three premier resorts, and optional services like equipment rentals or flight bookings.
Travelers from Tokyo can reach the mountain destination by taking the Shinkansen to Nagano Station followed by a connecting bus to the Happo Bus Terminal.
Tickets for the multi day event are available through the official festival website or via specialized packages on the Klook platform.
