Miyoshi Nagayoshi Warrior Parade 2026
Last Updated on March 6, 2026

The city of Daito in Osaka is preparing to host the Miyoshi Nagayoshi Warrior Parade at Hojo Park to honor a significant figure from the Sengoku period.
Miyoshi Nagayoshi was a powerful samurai and skilled military strategist who controlled seven provinces across the Kansai region during his peak.
Since its inception in 2016, the annual event has served as a cultural tribute that begins and ends at the park grounds.
Spectators can expect to see participants marching in traditional samurai armor and period clothing to recreate the atmosphere of feudal Japan.
The festivities include a variety of family friendly activities such as music performances and live sword fighting demonstrations.
Local vendors will be present to sell regional produce and goods, and a castle themed bounce house will be available for younger attendees.
While there is no admission fee to enter the event area, visitors are encouraged to bring currency for any food or souvenir purchases.
The venue is situated in a convenient location that is less than a ten minute walk from Shijonawate Station on the Katamachi Line.
This celebration provides a unique opportunity for residents and tourists to learn about the historical legacy of one of the most influential leaders of the sixteenth century.
