Zeta Gundam’s Hambrabi gets a new Gunpla kit based its on appearance in GQuuuuuX
BANDAI SPIRITS has unveiled several new Gunpla model kits from the franchise’s latest animated series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX, at the 2025 63rd All Japan Model Hobby Show.
The event, a significant fixture in the Japanese hobby calendar, is taking place at Tokyo Big Sight this weekend, offering fans an early look at upcoming merchandise.
A highlight of the BANDAI SPIRITS exhibit is the prototype for the HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ) plastic model.
This High Grade (HG) kit represents the mobile suit as it appears in the recent Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX anime.
The GQuuuuuX series is a recent entry in the massive Gundam franchise, an alternative history story that sees a high school student, Amate Yuzuriha, drawn into illegal mobile suit dueling known as “Clan Battles.”
The new Hambrabi (GQ) model is scheduled for an official retail release in June 2026.
The price for the kit will be 2,860 yen (tax included).
Visitors to the event have the exclusive opportunity to see the physical prototype of the model kit up close, allowing for a detailed inspection of its design and parts before its production run.
In addition to the Hambrabi prototype, BANDAI SPIRITS is also displaying accessories that expand other releases from the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX line.
The new HG 1/144 Red Gundam Expansion Set includes bits, sword, and bazooka accessories, which will enhance the existing Red Gundam model.
A new HG 1/144 Gunpla kit of the 01 Gundam was also featured at the show.
Pre-orders for the 01 Gundam model kit opened on October 17th through Premium Bandai, and are priced at 2,420 yen.
