Weiß Schwarz Online to Launch in Fall 2026

The popular trading card game Weiß Schwarz is officially making the leap to digital platforms.
Bushiroad Games announced “Weiß Schwarz Online” is in development for both the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

The initial reveal was made on January 12, 2026, confirming that the digital title is scheduled for release this fall, placing its launch window in the second half of 2026.
The game will be available in two distinct versions at launch: the “Weiß Edition” and the “Schwarz Edition”.
This structure mirrors the traditional naming and thematic separation of the physical card game.

Bushiroad, a major publisher in the collectible card game and video game space, aims to translate the core strategy of the tabletop game for a global digital audience.
“Weiß Schwarz Online” is designed to allow users to connect online and play the card game against players from all over the world.

Beyond its primary multiplayer focus, the game is set to include a dedicated single-player adventure mode, giving players an avenue to learn the mechanics and engage with the content at their own pace.
For new players, a comprehensive tutorial will be implemented to ensure the typically complex ruleset of the TCG is accessible to newcomers.

A variety of established card sets from the physical game will be featured across the two initial releases.
The “Weiß Edition” will include card sets based on Aogiri, Sneaker Bunko, The Quintessential Quintuplets, and MyGO!!!!!.

The “Schwarz Edition” will feature content from The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors, Sword Art Online: War of Underworld, Touhou Project, and Ave Mujica.
The “Weiß Schwarz” TCG is known for its strategy that blends card game mechanics with properties from popular anime, manga, and video game franchises.
The transition to a digital format is expected to expand the game’s global reach substantially.

An official website and an announcement trailer have been released, providing more information to anticipating players.
