VTuber Natori Sana announces 6th annual blood drive collaboration with namesake city
A collaboration between the popular independent VTuber Natori Sana and the Natori City Blood Donation Promotion Council in Miyagi Prefecture has been announced.
This partnership marks the sixth consecutive year that the VTuber and the city, which share a name, have teamed up to promote blood donation.
Natori Sana is a well-known independent virtual YouTuber with a “virtual nurse” persona, a theme that makes this long-running public health collaboration particularly fitting.
The annual event has become a successful tradition, leveraging the creator’s fanbase to encourage participation in blood drives.
This year’s campaign will consist of two separate donation events held in the city of Natori.
The first will be held at the Natori City Hall on Thursday, the 14th of August, 2025.
The second will take place at the Aeon Mall Natori on Saturday, the 30th of August, 2025.
As an incentive for participants, a special commemorative gift will be given to those who donate blood.
The gift is a “Cheki-style bromide,” a small photo card designed to look like an instant camera print, featuring a collaboration-themed image of Natori Sana.
Two different designs of the bromide will be available, and donors will be able to choose one of the two.
These commemorative items will be limited in quantity and are available exclusively to donors who pre-book their appointment.
Reservations must be made in advance through the official “Love-Blood” web service for blood donations in Japan.
