Vans reveals new collab with Japanese metal icons BABYMETAL
The first-ever collaboration collection between the action sports footwear brand Vans and the globally renowned metal dance unit BABYMETAL has officially been revealed.
This collection, designed to commemorate BABYMETAL’s 15th anniversary in 2025, features items based on the shared brand color of “Red” and “Black.”
The lineup reimagines three of Vans’ most iconic classic models: the “OLD SKOOL,” “SK8-HI,” and “SLIP-ON.”
A key design feature across the footwear is the inclusion of the BABYMETAL logo on the heel and the text “BABYMETAL DEATH” printed on the foxing line (the rubber edge of the sole), referencing both one of their signature songs and their self-introduction phrase.
The collaboration comes at the end of a historic year for the group.
In 2025, BABYMETAL signed a global partnership with Capitol Records in the US and released their 4th original album, METAL FORTH, in August.
The album achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first album by a Japanese group to enter the Top 10 of the US Billboard 200 chart.

The collection is scheduled to go on sale starting Thursday, December 11, 2025.
