Vampire Survivors Reveals ‘Legacy of the Bloodmoon’ DLC

Developer poncle announced on June 6, 2026, a major expansion for its hit title Vampire Survivors titled Legacy of the Bloodmoon.
This upcoming DLC is described as the counterpart to the game’s first expansion and is scheduled for release in the summer of 2026 across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile platforms.
Players can expect a significant content drop including 10 new characters, over 16 weapons and evolutions, a new XL stage, and eight new music tracks.
In a strategic branding move, the studio introduced Survivaton, a new label dedicated to internally developed projects that build upon the Survivors-like genre.
To reflect its status as the foundation of this new series, the original game will be renamed to Vampire Survivors: First Survivaton.
A free content update, Patch 1.15, launched on Steam on June 6, 2026, bringing a new stage, characters, and weapons to the game.
This update is expected to arrive on other consoles and mobile devices by the end of June 2026 following platform-specific optimizations.
The developer also confirmed that a dedicated version for the Nintendo Switch 2 is currently in production, promising enhanced performance and mouse support.
Expanding its global reach, poncle is establishing a Japanese subsidiary, poncle Japan, headed by industry veteran Sawaki Takeyasu.
This new division will manage local development and partnerships to better connect the studio with the Japanese gaming market and its creators.
As part of the upcoming summer release, the studio will also add more content to the existing Legacy of the Moonspell DLC while permanently lowering its price.
