UNIQLO’s new Tamagotchi collab to include an exclusive Original Tamagotchi

The global apparel retailer Uniqlo has announced a new “UT” (Uniqlo T-shirt) collection featuring the iconic digital pet toy, Tamagotchi.
The highlight of this new partnership is the release of a new Original Tamagotchi, which will be sold alongside the apparel.

Tamagotchi, first released by Bandai in 1996, became a massive cultural phenomenon.

Nearly 30 years later, the brand continues to attract new generations of fans while still holding a strong nostalgic appeal for those who grew up with it.
This new collection offers a complete set for fans, allowing them to wear a T-shirt that matches their new, exclusive Tamagotchi.

The exclusive UNIQLO-themed Original Tamagotchi will be priced at ¥2,990 (approx. $20 USD / £16 GBP).

The apparel side of the collection is inspired by the pixel art of the original, first-generation Tamagotchi.

The T-shirt designs feature the simple yet expressive 8-bit graphics of the classic characters, such as “Mametchi” and “Kuchipatchi.”
Let’s take a look at each of the designs that will be available!
- UNIQLO x Tamagotchi UT Collection – Kuchipatchi Care and Attention T-Shirt

- UNIQLO x Tamagotchi UT Collection – Group T-Shirt

Each of the T-shirts in the collection will be priced at ¥1,990 (approx. $13.50 USD / £10.80 GBP).
The new Tamagotchi UT Collection is scheduled to be released in mid-December 2025.

The collection will be available in select stores across Japan, as well as online via the official UNIQLO website.
