UNIQLO brings back popular 'Ghost in the Shell' and 'Evangelion' T-shirt designs

Uniqlo is bringing back fan-favorite designs from two previous collections based on legendary anime series “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex” and “Evangelion.”

The select UT (Uniqlo T-shirt) designs will be updated with new materials and silhouettes to match current fashion trends.

For fans of “Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.,” two distinct designs will be available.

One features the iconic protagonist, Major Motoko Kusanagi, while the other showcases the beloved Tachikoma multi-legged tank.

“Evangelion” enthusiasts can also look forward to two returning designs.

These tees will feature striking prints of the Evangelion Unit-01 and the formidable Evangelion Unit-02′ β.

Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. BLACK: ¥1,990 (tax included)

This design features the outline of a Tachikoma tank, a favorite of fans due to their joyful and often child-like personality despite being professional when it comes to field missions.

Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. WHITE: ¥1,990 (tax included)

This outline design features Major Motoko Kusanagi, the series’ protagonist.

Evangelion BLACK: ¥1,990 (tax included)

Evangelion WHITE: ¥1,990 (tax included)

All four updated UT designs will be available for purchase starting May 12th, 2025 via the official Uniqlo website and in stores across Japan. Availability through Uniqlo’s international branches may differ.
