Two exclusive Perfect Grade Unicorn Gundam model kits are getting a re-release
A new wave of pre-orders has opened for a restock of two different, highly sought-after, and exclusive “Perfect Grade” (PG) Gunpla model kits.
Perfect Grade is the pinnacle of the Gunpla hobby, a line of massive, 1/60 scale model kits that are known for an extreme level of detail, complexity, and mechanical engineering.
The first of the two re-released kits is the “PG 1/60 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Final Battle Ver.).”
This model is from the popular 2010 OVA series, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, which is set in the main Universal Century timeline and follows the story of the young Banagher Links as he becomes the pilot of the mysterious Unicorn Gundam.
This version of the iconic transforming mobile suit is designed to replicate its appearance in the final battle of the series, and it features a unique, green-colored Psycho-Frame.
The second kit is the “PG 1/60 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex (Narrative Ver.).”
This is a model of the golden, third Unicorn Gundam as it appeared in the 2018 theatrical film, Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative.
The film is a direct sequel to the Unicorn series, and it follows a group of characters who are on a mission to hunt down the mysterious and seemingly sentient Phenex.
This Perfect Grade kit of the mobile suit features a brilliant, gold-plated finish.
Both kits are Premium Bandai exclusives that are being sold in limited quantities for this production run, and pre-orders may close early if the prepared stock is depleted.
The re-release of the two massive models began on Friday, the 19th of September, on the Premium Bandai online store.
The “PG 1/60 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Final Battle Ver.)” is priced at ¥27,500 (approx. $187 USD/£138 GBP) and is scheduled to be shipped in October 2025.
The “PG 1/60 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex (Narrative Ver.)” is priced at ¥53,900 (approx. $366 USD/£270 GBP) and is scheduled to be shipped in December 2025.
