Tokyo Revengers “Time-Leaps” into Umigatari Aquarium for New Event
The popular Tokyo Revengers franchise is taking over one of Japan’s most famous aquariums in a new collaboration.
The Joetsu Aquarium, Umigatari, has announced a “Tokyo Revengers x Mystery Solving Event” set to run from this fall into next spring.
The event, running from October 17, 2025, to March 8, 2026, will feature an interactive mystery game, exclusive merchandise based on new original illustrations, and themed decorations throughout the building.
Event Overview
The main feature of the collaboration is an interactive mystery-solving game that immerses visitors in the world of Tokyo Revengers.
According to the story, visitors are scouting the aquarium with protagonist Hanagaki Takemichi when they suddenly time-leap into the aquarium’s “past.”
There, they must team up with the nostalgic members of the Tokyo Manji Gang to solve the mystery and find a way to return to the present.
The mystery-solving kit is available for ¥800 (tax included).
Visitors who successfully solve all the puzzles will receive an original event-exclusive badge (1 of 6 random designs) as a prize.
In addition to the game, several other themed attractions will be available:
- Living Creatures Explanation Panel: Tying into the “time-leap” theme, special panels will be set up to explain the ecology of the aquarium’s creatures, including details about their “past” (before they grew up).
- Photo Spot: Panels featuring the new original illustrations of the characters will be placed in various locations, allowing visitors to take commemorative photos.

A lineup of exclusive collaboration goods featuring the new illustrations will be available for purchase.
