Toei confirms April 2026 premiere for One Piece Elbaph Arc

The television anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece is scheduled to begin the Elbaph arc on April 5, 2026.
This release date was confirmed during the franchise’s stage presentation at Jump Festa ’26 on Sunday, accompanied by the reveal of a new key visual and trailer for the upcoming storyline.

The premiere follows a significant restructuring of the anime’s broadcast schedule.
Producer Ryūta Koike previously announced that Toei Animation will reduce the series’ annual output to a maximum of 26 episodes starting in 2026.

Consequently, following the conclusion of the current Egghead arc, the production will enter a planned hiatus from January through March 2026.

According to the studio, this shift from a continuous weekly format is intended to improve the adaptation’s quality, allowing for better pacing and tempo relative to the manga.
The new trailer for the One Piece Elbaph Arc is now available on YouTube:
This update served as the finale to a major weekend of announcements at Jump Festa ’26.
In addition to the One Piece news, the event confirmed that the final part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War titled “The Calamity” will air in July 2026, while Black Clover will return with a new season in 2026.

The second season of Blue Box is set for Fall 2026, with DAN DA DAN and Mashle: Magic and Muscles both confirming third seasons for 2027.

Fans also received confirmation of a second season for Sakamoto Days, a 10th Anniversary bonus episode for My Hero Academia, and a new trailer was revealed for the World Trigger “Reboot Project” that will re-adapt the series from the beginning.
