The villainous Queen Chrysalis is the next My Little Pony BISHOUJO statue

The latest entry in the popular “MY LITTLE PONY BISHOUJO” series of collectible figures has been made available for pre-order by the manufacturer Kotobukiya.
The “BISHOUJO” line is a long-running series of high-quality figures that are based on original, stylized “beautiful girl” illustrations by the popular artist, Shunya Yamashita.

This new statue reimagines Queen Chrysalis, the manipulative and malevolent queen of the shape-shifting Changelings, in a brand-new, original design.

In the lore of the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic series, Queen Chrysalis is a recurring antagonist and a major threat to Equestria, with the ability to feed on love and positive emotions.

Her new BISHOUJO design is described by Kotobukiya as having a slender, mysterious, and gloomy aura.

Her unique fashion includes leather pants and platform boots, and her Changeling nature is represented by a waistcloth and scarf that are designed to look like insect wings.

The statue also comes with a separate, non-articulated figure of Queen Chrysalis in her Changeling form.

This pony-like figure is designed with a unique silhouette that is different from the other ponies in the series, and it is detailed down to the characteristic holes in her legs.

This new villainous release is designed to be a companion piece to the previously announced statue of her heroic arch-nemesis, Princess Cadance.

The “MY LITTLE PONY BISHOUJO STATUE – QUEEN CHRYSALIS” is priced at ¥23,100 (approx. $157 USD/£113 GBP).

Pre-orders for the new figure are currently open on the Kotobukiya online shop and at other retailers, and it is scheduled to be released in April 2026.
