The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince Comes to PC After Seven Year Wait

The adventure game The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is officially coming to PC.
Publisher NIS America announced that the game will be released via Steam in early 2026, bringing the emotional fairytale action-platformer to a new audience.

The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince first launched for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PS Vita in Japan on May 31, 2018.
It later saw a worldwide release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2019.

A subsequent version for mobile platforms, iOS and Android, was released in Japan on May 29, 2020.
The upcoming PC release comes just over 7 and a half years after it was first released on consoles.

The game is a storybook tale centered on two lonely hearts brought together by a mutual misunderstanding.
The narrative begins deep in a forest where a solitary wolf sings a beautiful song.

A curious prince follows the melody only to find and startle the wolf, who accidentally blinds him.
Driven by guilt, the wolf disguises itself as a princess to guide the sightless prince through the perilous forest.

Their destination is the lair of a witch who may be capable of restoring his vision.
Players control the wolf, who must utilize the ability to transform at will between the powerful wolf form and the delicate princess form.

The gameplay requires utilizing the wolf’s strength to dispatch hostile creatures and overcome obstacles, while the princess’s wit and gentle guidance are necessary to safely maneuver the blind prince past hazardous traps and perilous hurdles.

The forest is home to a number of foes intent on ending the journey prematurely.

Along the way, collecting delicate petals provides fragments of shared memories, which paint a vivid story of tragedy, love, and loss as the pair search for a fairytale ending.
