The final boss of Gundam SEED gets a new deluxe version METAL BUILD figure

A new, special-edition figure of the Providence Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED has been announced by Bandai Spirits.
The “METAL BUILD Providence Gundam CLIMAX BATTLE Ver.” is being released as a commemorative item for the upcoming “TAMASHII NATION 2025” exhibition event.
The METAL BUILD line is a series of high-end, collectible action figures known for its extensive use of die-cast metal parts and intricate mechanical detail.
The Providence Gundam is the final, formidable mobile suit piloted by the series’ primary antagonist, Rau Le Creuset.

It is famous for its powerful “DRAGOON” system, a network of remote-controlled beam weapon pods that it can deploy for all-range attacks.
This new “CLIMAX BATTLE Ver.” is a deluxe version of a popular previous release.

While the main figure’s sculpt and coloring remain the same, this version includes a brand-new, complex “turret-type support strut” system for its display stand.

This new, patent-pending display system allows all of the mobile suit’s DRAGOON pods to be displayed as if they have been deployed in a full-scale attack.

The color of the main display base has also been changed to black for this release.

The figure stands approximately 19.5 centimeters tall, but the total display height with the DRAGOONs deployed reaches 33.5 centimeters.

As a highly sought-after event exclusive, the figure will be sold through a multi-phase lottery system.

An initial, tiered pre-sale lottery will be held for “Club TAMASHII Members,” followed by a general lottery for all customers, which is scheduled to run from the 3rd to the 7th of September.
The “METAL BUILD Providence Gundam CLIMAX BATTLE Ver.” is priced at ¥50,600 and it is scheduled to be shipped in November 2025.
More details regarding the lottery are available on the official TAMASHII NATIONS product page.
