The Chiikawa Bakery reveals its new limited-time Halloween menu

The popular Chiikawa Bakery has announced a new lineup of limited-time products themed around the Halloween season.
Chiikawa, created by the illustrator Nagano, is a massively popular manga and anime series that follows the fun, sad, and sometimes difficult daily lives of the titular character Chiikawa and his friends, Hachiware and Usagi.

The Chiikawa Bakery is a real-life bakery that sells a variety of bread and other goods shaped like the series’ adorable characters.

This new, limited-time collection brings a spooky and autumnal twist to the bakery’s lineup, with the three main characters being reimagined in cute, “black cat” themed bread designs.
The new, autumn-flavored bread lineup is as follows:
- Chiikawa Bread (Black Cat)

Filled with a sweet chestnut paste (“kuri-an”).
- Hachiware Bread (Black Cat)

Filled with a roasted green tea (“hōjicha”) cream.
- Usagi Bread (Black Cat)

Filled with a sweet pumpkin paste (“kabocha-an”).
In addition to the new breads, a new, autumn-exclusive version of the popular “Financier Trio” will also be sold.

The “Financier Trio (Pumpkin)” is a set of three financier cakes, each decorated with the face of one of the main characters, in a new, pumpkin flavor.
Two new, takeout-exclusive drinks will also be available: a “Grape Drink” and a “Yogurt Grape” drink.

The “Chiikawa Bakery” is located on the third floor of the Tokyu Plaza Omotesando “Omokado” building in Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo.

Entry to the bakery is managed through a web-only, pre-booking system, which requires a reservation fee of ¥1,000 that includes a shopping voucher of the same value.
The new, Halloween-themed menu is scheduled to be available for a limited time, from Monday, the 14th of October, to Monday, the 3rd of November.
