The Case Book of Arne Anime Debuts with New Visual and Promotional Video

The television anime adaptation of Game Magazine’s popular mystery title, The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jiken-bo), has officially commenced its broadcast run, with the simultaneous release of its second promotional video and a new key visual.
The series is currently available for viewing on Crunchyroll, having launched its terrestrial run on NTV, BS NTV, and AT-X.
The story centers on a fascinating and unusual partnership, adapting the game created by the production team Harumurasaki.

It pairs Arne Neuntöte, a vampire detective, with Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a noble family who harbors a great fondness for vampires.
Together, this unexpected tandem is tasked with solving a series of bloody murder cases, bringing the intense mystery of the original source material to the screen.
Harumurasaki first launched the game on Game Magazine’s website in November 2017, where it developed a strong following.
Helming the anime at the animation studio SILVER LINK is director Keisuke Inoue.
Inoue, who has directed titles such as Ao-chan Can’t Study! and Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero, is also co-writing the script alongside Murasaki, the individual who handled the original game’s scenario and production.

Akiko Satō, known for her work on “Trigun Stampede” and “A Condition Called Love”, serves as both character designer and chief animation director.
Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music for the series.
The voice cast brings the central characters to life, including Mariya Ise as Luis Hartman and Kōki Uchiyama as the adult Arne Neuntöte, with Aimi Tanaka voicing young Arne Neuntöte.

Yuka Nukui plays Lynn Reinweiss.

Supporting cast members include Yuki Sakakihara as Zisye, Yūki Shin as Nachzehrer, Yōko Hikasa as Amy, Hiroshi Naka as Gordon, Reo Osanai as Diana, Momoka Terasawa as Elise, Rikuya Yasuda as Bernd, Yūto Uemura as Heinz, and Kakeru Hatano as Kai.

The anime’s themes are provided by key artists in the J-Pop and singer-songwriter scene.
Singer Sou performs the opening theme song “Q.E.D.,” while singer-songwriter Watashi Kobayashi performs the ending theme, “Ningyō no Machi” (Doll Town).

The ending song features an arrangement by Takeaki Wada, the composer of the original game’s theme song.
In related news, Soraho Ina, who previously illustrated a manga based on the game, has launched a new manga adaptation of the anime’s episodes titled “The Case Book of Arne: Memory of Blood” on Bushiroad Works’ Comic Growl website.

Ina also previously serialized a manga adaptation of the game in Kadokawa’s “Monthly Comic Gene” magazine, which ran in 2018 and compiled four book volumes.
