Team Bucciarati is the face of new JJBA Golden Wind makeup collab line
Kiss Me Heavy Rotation has announced a new collaboration with the anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.
The partnership will feature the brand’s popular “Coloring Eyebrow EX” eyebrow mascara in limited-edition packaging.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind is the fifth part of the long-running manga and anime saga by Hirohiko Araki.
It follows the story of Giorno Giovanna and his journey to rise through the ranks of the Neapolitan mafia, and is known for its flamboyant fashion, intricate battles, and unique character designs.
The series is so popular that a new dedicated store is set to open in Tokyo this July, with series creator Hirohiko Araki having recently attended an opening ceremony for the store.
This new collaboration brings the main members of “Team Bucciarati” to the packaging of four of the eyebrow mascara’s most popular shades.
The product’s bottle has also been redesigned with playful motifs inspired by the JoJo’s series.
The collection features four different color variations, each with unique character packaging.
The “03 Ash Brown” shade features the protagonist, Giorno Giovanna.
The “04 Natural Brown” shade showcases the team’s leader, Bruno Bucciarati.
The “08 Ash Gray” color is adorned with the duo of Leone Abbacchio and Guido Mista.
Finally, the “09 Natural Ash” shade features the pair of Narancia Ghirga and Pannacotta Fugo.
The “Coloring Eyebrow EX” is a well-known product in the Japanese beauty market.
It is a film-type brow mascara that is designed to provide a high-color payoff in a single coat, giving brows a natural, fluffy finish.
The product uses a compact brush designed to avoid smudging on the skin, and while it is a long-lasting, multi-proof formula resistant to sweat and water, it can be easily removed with warm water.
The formula also contains panthenol, a conditioning ingredient designed to protect the eyebrow hairs.
The limited-edition eyebrow mascaras are priced at 924 yen each.
The JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind x Kiss Me Heavy Rotation collaboration is scheduled to launch in drugstores and variety shops across Japan on Friday, the 8th of August.
