Super Meat Boy 3D Physical Editions Heading to PS5 and Switch 2

Meridiem Games has announced that physical versions of the 3D platformer Super Meat Boy 3D are coming to PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch 2.
These physical editions are scheduled to launch at retail on June 30, 2026.
The project is a collaborative effort developed by Sluggerfly and Team Meat, with Headup serving as the game’s publisher.
Collectors can select from two separate physical packages when the game arrives in stores.
The Standard Edition contains the base game, a set of stickers, and a reversible cover for the case.
The more comprehensive Special Edition includes the game, the sticker set, and the reversible cover, plus a special sleeve, a lenticular postcard, a cloth patch, and a physical art book.
Players who prefer digital versions will be able to play the game earlier, as the digital release is set for March 31, 2026.
This digital launch will occur across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
The transition to 3D gameplay represents a major milestone for the franchise, which established itself as a staple of the indie scene through its difficult 2D levels.
Meridiem continues its history of supporting independent developers by providing these tangible releases for the gaming community.
