Square Enix’s new Final Fantasy T-shirts come in boxes that recreate the game’s Famicom era
A new line of merchandise has been announced by Square Enix, with a focus on the classic era of the Final Fantasy franchise.
The new collection features a wide range of goods based on the original pixel art designs from the first six games in the iconic role-playing game series, an aesthetic recently celebrated in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster project.
A key part of the new collection is a series of “Pixel Art T-shirts,” each featuring vibrant prints of the title logos and character sprites from one of the classic games.
In a special, nostalgic touch, each T-shirt is packaged in a box designed to look exactly like the original Famicom or Super Famicom game packaging from that era, evoking the feeling of opening a brand-new game.
The collection also includes a set of metal pin badges, which are miniature replicas of the original Japanese package art for the first six games, many of which feature the legendary artwork of Yoshitaka Amano.
A magnet collection for Final Fantasy VI is also available which recreates the expressive character portraits from the game’s iconic menu screen.

This new line of goods offers fans a new way to celebrate the foundational titles of the long-running series.
Pre-orders for the new items are currently open on the official Square Enix e-STORE.
The entire collection is scheduled to be released on Saturday, the 4th of October, 2025.
