Square Enix reveals classic-style Aerith figure complete with Mythril Rod
Pre-orders have officially opened for a new action figure capturing the classic appearance of one of gaming’s most beloved heroines.
The new “Final Fantasy VII BRING ARTS Aerith Gainsborough Mythril Rod Ver.” joins the popular BRING ARTS line from Square Enix.
Based on the original 1997 Final Fantasy VII design rather than the modern Remake trilogy, this figure recreates Aerith’s “origin” look with her signature hairstyle and pink dress.
This specific version sets itself apart with unique new accessories and includes a newly sculpted Mythril Rod weapon, a staple item for Aerith in the early game.
The figure also comes with a new interchangeable face part to offer more expression options, along with various hand parts for posing.
This announcement comes alongside a wave of new Final Fantasy VII merchandise.
Square Enix recently opened pre-orders for a new prequel novel titled “FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Dear Destiny,” which will explore the pasts of Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith.
The “Final Fantasy VII BRING ARTS Aerith Gainsborough Mythril Rod Ver.” is priced at 13,200 yen (approx. $85.80 USD / £67.70 GBP).
Pre-orders are available now via the Square Enix e-STORE and other major online retailers.
The figure is scheduled to be released on March 28, 2026.
