Square Enix opens orders for life-sized replica of Donald Duck’s staff from Kingdom Hearts
A new piece of merchandise has been announced by Square Enix, which is a life-sized replica of an iconic weapon from the popular Kingdom Hearts video game series.
Kingdom Hearts is a long-running and globally beloved series of action role-playing games that fuses the worlds of Disney and Final Fantasy.
This new replica “Magician’s Staff” recreates the signature weapon of the royal magician, Donald Duck.
Donald Duck is one of the two main companions who travel with the series’ protagonist, Sora, on his adventures.
The sculpt features a high level of detail, including the fine wrinkles on the magician’s hat that sits atop the staff.
A key feature of the replica is that it has a built-in light-up gimmick.
By pressing a button, the top section of the staff will light up, just as it does in the game.
The replica measures approximately 40 centimeters in length, and this new release offers fans of the series a high-quality collectible that is perfect for both display and use in cosplay.
The “Kingdom Hearts / Light-Up Magician’s Staff” is priced at ¥9,900 (approx. $67 USD/£50 GBP).
Pre-orders for the new replica are currently open on the official Square Enix e-STORE.
The staff is scheduled to be released on Saturday, the 24th of January, 2026.
