Spooky Season Arrives Early Thanks to New Marin Kitagawa Halloween Scale Figure

Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders for a new figure based on the hit romantic comedy anime series, My Dress-Up Darling.
The “Marin Kitagawa Halloween Ver.” 1/7 scale figure imagines the passionate cosplay enthusiast dressed up in a festive, seasonal outfit.

My Dress-Up Darling follows the heartwarming dynamic between Wakana Gojo, a high school boy training to become a traditional doll artisan, and his popular classmate Marin Kitagawa.

Marin is an energetic and outgoing otaku who dreams of cosplaying her favorite video game and anime characters, but lacks the sewing skills to make her own costumes.

She quickly recruits Wakana to craft her outfits, leading to a deep bond as they navigate the complexities of the hobby together.

Their shared passion for creation forms the core of the story, allowing Marin to showcase a variety of impressive looks throughout the show.

This new 1/7 scale figure presents Marin wearing an intricately detailed, spooky-themed dress.

Marin is depicted with a cheerful, winking smile and lightly blushed cheeks that carefully capture her lively personality.

Careful attention has been given to the intricate ruffles and rich textures of her festive attire.

The statue stands at approximately 25cm in height and includes a dedicated base for a secure display.

The included witch hat can be removed, providing collectors with different display options depending on their aesthetic preferences.

Fans can secure the “Marin Kitagawa Halloween Ver.” 1/7 scale figure for 19,800 yen (approx. $126 USD/£100 GBP) during its pre-order period, which opened on May 19, 2026, and will close on July 8, 2026.

The figure is expected to ship to buyers in May 2027 and can be purchased via the Good Smile Company Online Store or via reputable hobby goods retailers, such as HobbyLink Japan.
