Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds second free update adds Persona 5’s Joker and the “Arsène Wing”
Sega has announced the second free update for its recently released racing game, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
The new update will add a new collaboration racer to the game: “Joker” from the popular Atlus RPG, Persona 5: The Royal.
Joker, the leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, will be added to the game as a playable character.
He will also be accompanied by his signature, themed machine, the “Arsène Wing.”
To celebrate the new content, a special, limited-time in-game event, the “P5R Joker Festa,” will also be held.
While full details have not yet been announced, this event is expected to be similar to the previous “Hatsune Miku Festa,” where players could earn exclusive in-game items such as titles and stickers.
It has also been noted that the “World Match” mode will be suspended during the event period.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a new, crossover racing game that was released in September.
This update continues to expand its roster of characters from across different franchises.
The second free update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is scheduled to be released this Thursday, the 23rd of October.
The “P5R Joker Festa” is scheduled to run from Friday, the 24th of October, to Monday, the 27th of October.
