Smell like a hero with new One Punch Man inspired perfume

Three perfumes inspired by the hit anime and manga series One Punch Man will soon be available in Japan.

The first perfume in the range is based on the series hero Saitama

The range has been produced by Primaniacs, a perfume brand that specializes in perfumes inspired by TV anime and manga.

Anime inspired perfumes are a growing trend in Japan, with new scents based on series such as Fairy Tail, Kakegurui, Mob Psycho 100 and Sakamoto Days having been released recently.

One Punch Man is a series based around Saitama, a hero with overwhelming power who can defeat any opponent with a single punch which leads to boredom and the search for a worthy challenge.

The second perfume is inspired by the cyborg hero Genos

The series blends superhero action with satire, exploring Saitama’s existential frustration and the often absurd world of heroes and villains.

Primaniacs have created perfumes based on the heroes Saitama and Genos as well as the villain Speed O’ Sound Sonic.

The last perfume is based on the villain Speed O’ Sound Sonic

The perfumes were originally released in 2017 and this new release retains the same specially developed fragrances for each character but features updated packaging.

Saitama Perfume

Inspired by Saitama, the powerful and bitter petitgrain gives off a sense of bursting power before, it disappears in an instant, and the cheerful warmth of the soothing soap notes spreads and eventually only the faint scent of musk remains.

Top notes: citrus, galbanum, petitgrain
Middle notes: lily of the valley, soap, iris, rosemary
Last note: musk, cedarwood

Genos Perfume

This sophisticated scent is based on Genos and mixes the soft sweetness of fruit with citrus to present a scent that evokes a cold metallic texture. The clove notes arrive with growing strength, before the amber scent arrives and gently cools down your senses.

Top notes: citrus, la france pear, green apple
Middle notes: rosemary, clove, rose
Last note: sandalwood, amber, musk

Sonic Perfume

This light fragrance is been based on the villain Sonic and features a citrus-like serenity that seems to lurk in the shadows while the brightness of the lily of the valley adds a hint of something sneaking up on you from behind.

Top notes: fresh greens, citrus
Middle notes: green tea, rose, lily of the valley
Last note: sandalwood, cedarwood

Each 30ml bottle of perfume will be priced at 7,920 yen (approx. $55.17 USD / £42.20 GBP).

The perfumes will be available at the Primaniacs Ginza main store from Friday, June 20th and on general sale in other stores, including Animate, from Thursday, June 26th.

They can also be pre-ordered online through the Primaniacs website.
