Shin Godzilla joins Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid line this November

Good Smile Company has announced the upcoming release of a Nendoroid figure based on Godzilla’s appearance in the film Shin Godzilla.
Shin Godzilla, directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, offered a fresh interpretation of the iconic monster, portraying it as a terrifying force of nature in a modern Japanese setting.

The film was recognized for its unique take on the Godzilla lore and its impactful visual design, making this Nendoroid a representation of that memorable iteration.

The Nendoroid Godzilla (2016) figure is designed to capture the distinctive appearance of the creature from the film.

It comes with two interchangeable expression parts, allowing collectors to display Godzilla with either a closed or an open jaw.

To enhance display possibilities, the figure includes several optional parts:
- A set of replacement back heat dissipation organs, which were a key visual element of Godzilla’s evolving form in the movie.

- A radiation heat ray effect part, enabling the recreation of its devastating atomic breath.
- A blast effect part, adding to dynamic scene recreations.

The Nendoroid also comes with a dedicated stand to support its various poses.
Nendoroid Godzilla (2016) is priced at ¥8,900 and includes a special bonus “radiation heat effect” part if purchased directly through the Good Smile Company online store.

Pre-orders are now open until August 27th, 2025, with a scheduled release in November 2025.
