SEGA Announces 4-Disc Soundtrack for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties

SEGA has officially announced the release date of the original soundtrack for the upcoming game Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.

This massive musical collection spans four discs and features the complete score from the highly anticipated dual-title release.

The game itself, which pairs a full remake of the 2009 classic Yakuza 3 with a brand new original story focused on Yoshitaka Mine, is set to launch on February 12, 2026.

The soundtrack announcement follows the reveal of the game’s exclusive “DX Pack” collector’s editions.

While the limited collector’s editions focus on visual merchandise like tapestries and glassware, this release targets audiophiles who want to experience the series’ diverse soundscape.

The soundtrack offers a comprehensive listening experience that covers both Kiryu’s journey in Okinawa and the intense new storyline surrounding Mine’s descent into the criminal underworld.

A major highlight of this album is the inclusion of character songs from the Karaoke mini-game, a feature that has become synonymous with the franchise’s identity.

The tracklist also includes a special rendition of the fan-favorite ballad Baka Mitai sung by the in-game character Akko-san.

This character is portrayed by the legendary Japanese singer Akiko Wada, adding a significant level of prestige and star power to the game’s audio production.

The physical CD set is published by Wave Master and will include an original sticker as an exclusive purchase bonus for fans who buy the retail version.

For those who cannot wait for the physical media, the soundtrack will be available on music streaming services starting Thursday, February 12, 2026, coinciding with the game’s launch on platforms like the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.

The physical CD collection is priced at 5,280 yen (approx. $35.00 USD / £28.00 GBP), and early purchases will include a set of original stickers as a bonus.
