Second Pokemon TCG Figure Collection Dives Into Water-Type Monsters

The Pokemon Company has revealed an exciting new wave of figures based on the popular Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The “Dream Painting Water Ecology Figurine Set” serves as the second entry in a popular new merchandise line that transforms official trading card artwork into detailed physical dioramas.

The Pokemon Trading Card Game is a massive tabletop phenomenon that allows players to battle using decks constructed from their favorite monsters.
This new merchandise wave follows the highly successful launch of the first TCG figure collection, which was released to fans in November 2025.

That initial lineup focused heavily on the acclaimed “Pokemon Card 151” booster set, turning two-dimensional artwork of classic Kanto creatures into impressive three-dimensional display pieces.

This second iteration shifts the focus entirely toward aquatic monsters, bringing a variety of beautiful water-themed card illustrations to life.
Each blind box contains one random Pokemon figure faithfully recreating official card artwork, alongside a matching reverse holographic trading card.

A special display frame base is also included to seamlessly showcase the miniature figure directly next to its corresponding physical card.
To further enhance the value for fans, the packaging features two Chinese language “Brilliant Illusions” five-card booster packs to help players expand their tabletop decks.

Collectors should note that the physical cards included for display purposes are not permitted for use in standard tournament play.
The complete lineup consists of thirteen standard designs and one secret chase figure:

- Squirtle
- A physical recreation of the iconic classic Water-type starter.
- Poliwag
- A charming representation of the tadpole monster.
- Slowbro
- A detailed figure capturing the relaxed Water and Psychic-type creature.

- Shellder
- A three-dimensional adaptation of the tough bivalve monster.
- Goldeen
- A beautiful sculpture of the graceful Water-type goldfish.
- Starmie
- A striking geometric recreation of the Water and Psychic-type starfish.

- Corphish
- A detailed figure capturing the aggressive Water-type ruffian.
- Luvdisc
- A lovely three-dimensional adaptation of the heart-shaped fish.
- Golisopod
- A highly detailed imposing figure of the Bug and Water-type powerhouse.

- Cramorant
- A quirky representation of the Flying and Water-type avian.
- Wugtrio
- A faithful recreation of the elongated Water-type trio.
- Palafin (Hero Form)
- A heroic stance capturing the powerful aquatic protector.
- Secret Figure Wailord

The standout item of this aquatic set is a secret chase figure featuring the enormous Wailord.
This highly sought-after prize replicates a beautiful Illustration Rare card design and boasts an extremely low pull rate of approximately one in every 143 boxes.
The “Dream Painting Water Ecology” figure collection is scheduled to officially launch across China on Friday, April 24, 2026 and a single blind box is priced at 88 yuan (approx. $12 USD / £10 GBP).
While this release is currently focused on the Chinese market, the previous wave eventually received a wider release, launching in Japan a few months after the initial wave in China.
A similar broader regional rollout is expected for this new aquatic set, although no official details have been confirmed at this time.
