Sanrio’s Harmonyland theme park announces Christmas event schedule for 2025
Sanrio’s character theme park, Harmonyland, has unveiled its special Christmas event for 2025, “HARMONYLAND CHRISTMAS.”
Running from Friday, November 7th, to Thursday, December 25th, the park will be transformed with a “White Christmas” theme, featuring Hello Kitty and friends in elegant all-white costumes for a warm and festive celebration.
The headline event is the limited-time live show, “MERRY WHITE CHRISTMAS.”
Held in Harmony Village, the show will feature popular characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll in their special white outfits, creating a magical Christmas party atmosphere.
For the second consecutive year, the voice of Santa Claus will be performed by acclaimed actor, Hikaru Makishima.
The performance promises a fantastic experience with snow and confetti effects, and for the first time ever, some of the confetti will feature special illustrations of the characters.
Character Parades and Experiences
Beyond the main stage, guests can enjoy a variety of interactive events:
- Parade Parallel ~Christmas Ver.~
The park’s signature parade returns with a special Christmas edition, featuring Hello Kitty, Mimi, and others in unique holiday costumes.
- MERRY WHITE CHRISTMAS Special Greeting
A paid, reservation-only event that offers a personal meet-and-greet with the characters from the main show in their white costumes. This exclusive experience takes place in a comfortable indoor setting.
- Christmas BINGO!
A daily bingo game hosted by a rotating cast of characters including Wish me mell and Bad Badtz-Maru.
All participants will receive a special reusable hand warmer with a pouch as a gift.
New Photo Opportunities
Harmonyland is introducing a brand-new, snow globe-style photo spot for the first time.
The popular 6-meter-tall Christmas tree will also return to the park’s Flower Garden, alongside nine smaller Christmas trees individually themed to different Sanrio characters.
Seasonal Food and Exclusive Merchandise
The park’s culinary offerings will get a festive update with a menu designed to warm guests up.
Highlights include “Hello Kitty’s Christmas Curry,” creamy risotto-style Clam Chowder and Minestrone soups, and a “Glittering Tree Drink” made with hot cocoa and topped with tree-inspired whipped cream.
Visitors can also purchase exclusive “HARMONYLAND CHRISTMAS” merchandise as a souvenir.
The collection includes clear files and layered acrylic keychains with special Christmas illustrations, as well as can badges and memo clip stands featuring the characters in their limited-edition white costumes.
