Sanrio Teams Up With Baskin-Robbins for Exclusive Girls’ Day Collaboration

Reservations have officially begun for a new seasonal collaboration between Baskin-Robbins and Sanrio to celebrate Hinamatsuri.
The ice cream chain, known in Japan as “Thirty-One,” has revealed the “Hinadan Kazari,” a takeout set designed to resemble the traditional tiered doll displays used during the festival.

Hinamatsuri, also known as the Doll’s Festival or Girls’ Day, is observed annually on March 3rd in Japan to pray for the health and happiness of young girls.
Families typically display ornamental dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, and their court on a red-carpeted platform called a hinadan.

This collaboration playfully casts famous Sanrio mascots in these traditional roles, allowing fans to celebrate the holiday with a themed dessert.
Hello Kitty appears as the Hina doll (Empress), while Cinnamoroll takes on the role of the Odairi-sama (Emperor).

My Melody, Usahana, and Kuromi are depicted as the Three Court Ladies.

The lower tier features Pompompurin, Tuxedo Sam, Pochacco, Kerokerokeroppi, and Hangyodon as the Five Musicians.

The product allows customers to select five small ice cream scoops of their choice to be packaged in the decorative box.
