Sanrio releases official Hello Kitty tarot card deck
A new, officially licensed tarot card deck featuring the world-famous Sanrio character Hello Kitty has been released.
The deck has been created by Luna Factory, a publisher that specializes in creating and selling a wide variety of unique tarot and oracle card decks.
“LUNA’s HELLO KITTY TAROT,” is a complete, 78-card tarot deck that reinterprets the traditional archetypes of the tarot through the gentle world of Hello Kitty.
A standard tarot deck is split into two parts: the 22 Major Arcana cards, which represent major life themes and spiritual lessons, and the 56 Minor Arcana cards, which depict the trials and tribulations of daily life.
Each of the 78 cards in this new set features a completely new and original illustration.
The artwork is rendered in a soft, pastel color palette and is designed to be gentle and reassuring, removing the intimidating or frightening imagery often found in traditional tarot decks.
