Sanrio Gets Ready for Fall with Cozy New “Autumn Apple Series” Merch Collection
Image by James RichardsonSanrio is getting ready for fall with a new “Autumn Apple Design Series” starring its characters across plushies, bags and everyday accessories inspired by the start of the season.
The collection features Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, Pochacco and My Sweet Piano, giving six popular characters their own takes on its apple-inspired seasonal theme.

The range follows another line of recently revealed Sanrio merchandise, with the “PUNKS Party ~Halloween 2026~” Happy Kuji collection taking several of its characters in a very different direction with black outfits, chains, studs and punk rock styling.

Red checks feature heavily throughout the Autumn Apple collection, while individual products add details including apple-shaped buttons, hats, bags and appliqués to give the range a warmer fall-inspired appearance.

Sanrio’s “Autumn Apple Design Series” will launch through its Japanese online store, directly operated Sanrio stores and participating Sanrio departments on September 9, 2026, with online sales beginning at 10:00 AM JST.
Selected stores across Kyushu, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Kagawa, Ehime and Okinawa will receive the collection one day later on September 10.

Temporary purchase limits will apply around launch, with physical stores limiting customers to one of each character per item and online orders allowing two, while the randomized “Secret Mirror Keychains” will be limited to eight per customer.
