Sanrio and mofusand Unveil Adorable New Collab Collection

mofusand and Sanrio are teaming up once again for a charming new collaboration that transforms the popular “Kiramekko” plush accessories into an irresistibly cute crossover collection.
mofusand is the hugely popular creation of illustrator Juno, featuring adorable yet slightly quirky cats that have appeared across books, merchandise, brand collaborations and, more recently, their own anime series, which began streaming on YouTube and other platforms in January 2026.

Sanrio has entertained fans around the world for decades through iconic mascot characters including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Pompompurin and many more, making the brand one of Japan’s most recognizable character franchises.

The latest collaboration sees mofusand’s signature cats once again dressed in costumes inspired by some of Sanrio’s most popular characters, while adopting the sparkling eyes that define the Kiramekko plush accessory series.


The lineup features six different designs based on Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll and Pochacco.

Each design combines mofusand’s playful illustration style with a different Sanrio characters, creating an exclusive collection that seamlessly blends the instantly recognizable identities of both franchises to create the ultimate in cute accessories.

The mofusand x Sanrio Characters Kiramekko collection will go on sale from July 17, 2026 through the official mofusand Mofu Mofu Market online store, mofusand Mofu Mofu Store locations and select variety goods shops across Japan.
Individual plushies will be available for ¥2,420 each (approx. $17 USD / £12 GBP), while a complete box containing all six designs will retail for ¥14,520 (approx. $101 USD / £72 GBP).
