Samurai fighting game “Two Strikes” adds Baki Hanma as a playable character

A new collaboration has been announced for the 2D fighting game Two Strikes, which will see the addition of Baki Hanma as a playable character.
Two Strikes is a fighting game with a “two-hit kill” mechanic, where matches are decided by landing either one strong attack or two weak attacks.
The game is set in the year 1586 and is inspired by the duel scenes from classic samurai films, featuring a roster of characters who all wield weapons like swords and spears.

Baki Hanma is the protagonist of the long-running and hugely popular fighting manga series, Baki the Grappler.
He is the champion of a brutal, underground fighting arena and is known for his mastery of unarmed, bare-fisted martial arts.

This new crossover will see the unarmed Baki enter the weapons-based world of Two Strikes, pitting his incredible physical abilities against blades and spears.

In addition to the new character, it was also announced that a mobile version of Two Strikes is now available to subscribers of the Crunchyroll streaming service.

The game has been added to the “Crunchyroll Game Vault,” a collection of free games available to members.

Subscribers to this service will have immediate, early access to the new Baki Hanma DLC.

For those who play on PS5/PS4, Switch, Steam/PC, or Xbox Series X/S, the new DLC will be released as a separate purchase.
The first DLC for Two Strikes, featuring Baki Hanma, is scheduled for its general release on Thursday, the 28th of August, 2025.
A new trailer has also been released, which showcases Baki’s gameplay:
