Ribon celebrates 70th anniversary with Tokyo pop up shop this June

To celebrate their 70th anniversary, manga publication Ribon will be opening a pop up shop in Tokyo from the 14th June.
Published monthly by Shueisha since August 1955, Ribon is a prominent Japanese shojo manga magazine, rivaling Nakayoshi and Ciao.
It’s one of the best-selling shojo titles, boasting over 590 million copies sold since 1978.
The publication is kown for its diverse range of heartwarming and dramatic stories aimed at young female readers, Ribon often includes furoku (attached gifts) and has launched numerous successful manga series that have later been adapted into anime.
Visitors to the pop up shop will find a range of exclusive merchandise to add to their collections.
