Pre-orders open for upgraded Megurine Luka and MEIKO Dollfie Dream dolls
Orders have officially opened for updated versions of two popular Vocaloid characters in the high-end Dollfie Dream series.
The new dolls are “Dollfie Dream Megurine Luka 2.0” and “Dollfie Dream MEIKO 2.0,” produced by the hobby manufacturer Volks.
Dollfie Dream is a series of large-scale vinyl dolls (approximately 60cm tall) that are renowned for their ability to faithfully recreate anime-style character designs while offering extensive articulation.
These “2.0” releases feature a significant upgrade to the underlying structure, utilizing the “DD Base Body 2.0.”
This new body type offers improved range of motion and holding power, allowing for more stable and dynamic posing.
The outfits for both characters have been meticulously adjusted to fit the new body specifications, resulting in a more beautiful silhouette.
Volks has confirmed the full details for the new upgraded dolls as follows

This doll retains the original head sculpt and makeup but is upgraded to the DD Base Body 2.0 (L Bust).
The outfit features fabric with an elegant sheen, and the set includes a “Tako Luka” plush and a gold microphone stand.

MEIKO utilizes the DD Base Body 2.0 (M Bust) while keeping her popular original makeup and wig style.
She comes with detailed accessories, including a choker and cuffs, as well as a silver microphone stand.
Pre-orders for both dolls are currently open via the Dollfie Online Store and Volks physical locations in Japan.
The order period is scheduled to close on December 14, 2025 and both figures are scheduled to ship to customers in Autumn 2026.
