Pre-orders open for new statue of Yakuza’s Goro Majima from Kotobukiya

Kotobukiya has begun pre-orders for a new 1/6 scale figure of Goro Majima, a prominent character from Sega’s Like a Dragon (Yakuza) video game series.
Known as “The Mad Dog of Shimano,” Majima is depicted in a dynamic battle pose, reflecting his signature aggressive style.

The Like a Dragon series, developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega, is a long-running action-adventure franchise celebrated for its blend of gritty crime drama, over-the-top combat, and extensive side activities set in fictionalized districts of Japan.

Goro Majima is one of the series’ most iconic figures, known for his unpredictable personality, distinctive eyepatch, and fierce loyalty.

His chaotic energy and unique fighting style have made him a fan favorite across multiple installments.

Kotobukiya, a Japanese figure manufacturer, is recognized for its detailed sculpts and high-quality collectible figures across various scales.

The 1/6 scale Goro Majima figure captures the character wielding his “Demon Flame Dagger” (Oni Hono no Dosu) in a pose brimming with intensity.

The figure’s design emphasizes Majima’s physique and tattoos, with his upper body visible beneath an open jacket, showcasing his toned abs and the intricate tattoo on his back. This level of detail is characteristic of Kotobukiya’s output.

The figure is designed to complement the previously released “Dragon of Dojima,” Kazuma Kiryu, allowing collectors to display the two iconic rivals together.

The figure is priced at ¥27,500 (tax included) and is set for release in December 2025.
As an added incentive, customers who pre-order or purchase the figure directly from Kotobukiya stores, including the official Kotobukiya online store, will receive a special acrylic block bonus.

Pre-orders for the Goro Majima figure will be open until August 5th, 2025. Ordering by this date guarantees the figure; after this period, pre-orders will close once the production limit is reached.
