Pre-orders open for MG 1/100 Gundam Mk-V Gunpla kit

BANDAI SPIRITS has confirmed that pre-orders are now being accepted for a re-release of a previously sold-out Master Grade Gunpla kit.

The “MG 1/100 Gundam Mk-V” allows builders to put together a model of the Gundam Mk-V from “Gundam Sentinel”.

The Master Grade (MG) series is a flagship line of Gunpla plastic model kits produced by Bandai Spirits.

These kits are typically available in 1/100 which means that they accurately replicate Gundams and mobile suits at 1% of their size.

Given the huge size of most mobile suits in the Gundam series, replicas created at 1/100 scale are still a substantial size.

The Gundam Mk-V is a mobile suit from the “Gundam Sentinel” series, a popular photo-novel side story set within the Universal Century timeline of the Gundam franchise.

“Gundam Sentinel” was originally serialized in Model Graphix magazine in the late 1980s and is renowned for its highly detailed mechanical designs.

The Gundam Mk-V itself is a powerful and visually distinctive unit, originally developed as a refined version of the Psycho Gundam.

Its unique design, featuring a prominent forehead sensor and a robust, almost intimidating silhouette, has made it a fan favorite, leading to consistent demand for its model kit adaptations.
