Pre-Orders Open for Explosive Katsuki Bakugo FINAL SEASON Statue
Kotobukiya has officially opened pre-orders for its highly anticipated ARTFX J “Katsuki Bakugo FINAL SEASON Ver.” figure, which is based on one of My Hero Academia’s most emotional and action-packed moments.
The colored prototype was first unveiled earlier this month, giving fans an early look at the dynamic new statue ahead of its full pre-order launch.
Based on My Hero Academia’s Final Season, the figure recreates Bakugo’s dramatic return to the battlefield following his revival, as he immediately races to aid Izuku Midoriya in the desperate battle to save All Might from All For One and overturn Sir Nighteye’s grim prediction of All Might’s fate.
Standing approximately 21 cm tall, the 1/8-scale pre-painted statue captures Bakugo launching himself through the air while unleashing a barrage of explosive attacks with incredible energy and movement.
His “Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight” hero costume has been recreated with extensive battle damage, accurately reflecting the punishment he endured during the climactic confrontation.
The sculpt also faithfully includes the wound across his chest left by Best Jeanist’s emergency treatment following his revival, reinforcing the intensity of the scene.
Fine details extend throughout the figure, from the carefully sculpted grenade gauntlets and utility equipment around his waist to the weathered kneepads and combat-worn armor.
Expert paintwork further enhances the presentation by highlighting soot marks across the costume alongside bloodstains on Bakugo’s face, emphasizing the brutal conditions of the battle.
Behind Bakugo, large translucent effect parts combine with layered airbrushed smoke and fiery explosion effects to recreate the overwhelming force of his Quirk, while distinctive cross-shaped sweat explosion effects add even more visual impact.
Bakugo’s fierce open-mouthed expression perfectly captures both his relentless determination and trademark confidence as he throws himself back into combat without hesitation.
Collectors ordering through Kotobukiya’s official online store will also receive an exclusive interchangeable face part featuring the alternate expression first shown during the figure’s colored prototype reveal, providing an additional display option.
The “ARTFX J Katsuki Bakugo FINAL SEASON Ver.” 1/8-scale pre-painted figure is priced at ¥36,300 (approx. $245 USD / £180 GBP), with pre-orders now available ahead of its scheduled February 2027 release through Kotobukiya’s online store and other third-party hobby goods retailers internationally.
